Jojoba sea buckthorn

The combination of jojoba oil and sea buckthorn pulp oil maintains the skin's natural elasticity and provides an extra portion of care and protection. Jojoba oil has a moisturizing effect and also protects mature skin from drying out. With its waxy, light texture, it forms a delicate, non-sealing lipid film with the skin's natural sebum, which binds the skin's moisture so that it remains breathable. Sea buckthorn pulp oil is rich in natural carotenoids, vitamins A and E as well as palmitoleic acid, which is very valuable in terms of skin physiology. The combination of these two high-quality oils is quickly absorbed and provides long-lasting moisture without being greasy or sticky. The proportion of natural carotenoids in the sea buckthorn pulp oil makes the fine oil blend slightly tinted.

The evergreen shrub jojoba

Jojoba grows as an evergreen shrub. A distinction is made between female and male jojoba shrubs. The flowers of the female shrubs produce fruits. They are initially green, later turning brown and wrinkled. When the capsules burst open, they release the seeds. These consist of around 50 percent jojoba oil. This is a wax that is liquid at room temperature.

The native berry sea buckthorn

Sea buckthorn is known for its narrow, silvery leaves and bright orange fruit. The hardy, prickly plant is native to Germany. Harvesting it is laborious. Either the flesh of the sea buckthorn berry or the dried seeds of the sea buckthorn berry are used to obtain sea buckthorn oil.

Mix coconut blossom sugar, almond bran or coffee grounds, depending on the desired grain size, with the oil, rub over the face in circular movements, leave on briefly and rinse off with lukewarm water. This gently removes dead cells and revitalizes and nourishes the skin at the same time.
