Argan Skin Care Oil

Solling Organic Argan Oil is an intensely nourishing oil for face and body. The oil contains natural vitamin E and valuable secondary plant compounds. Argan oil leaves the skin feeling soft and supple for a long time. It prevents the skin from drying out and promotes suppleness. It can be used on its own or mixed into creams and lotions for daily skin care. It gently removes facial and eye make-up and regenerates dry and mature skin overnight.

Our Argan Oil is sourced from a women's cooperative in Morocco. The argan tree - also known as the argie - is native to this country. The tree bears the argan fruit, which is about the size of a date and contains the argan nut at its core. This is where we extract our argan oil. It is used both as an edible oil and in natural cosmetics.

Argan oil for hair care

Hair needs special attention after frequent sunbathing, blow-drying or dry heat. Treatments with argan oil are suitable for restoring softness and shine. The Moroccan oil in particular is a real flatterer for the hair - pure or, as in our Argan Hair Care Oil,with the sensual, sweet scent of amber.

Treat your hair with our Argan Oil

Argan oil can be used as a hair treatment. Apply a generous amount to towel-dried hair, leave for at least an hour and wash out with a mild shampoo. As a leave-in treatment, depending on hair texture, work a small amount into the palms of your hands and gently massage into the lengths and ends.

Pure facial care

Less is more when it comes to facial care. Our Argan Oil is free from fragrance and essential oils and provides long-lasting hydration and protection for sensitive facial skin. It also contains natural antioxidants, protecting the skin from free radicals and preventing skin ageing.

Removing Make-up with Argan Oil

Argan oil is excellent for removing make-up, even waterproof mascara and lipstick. Simply moisten a make-up remover pad with lukewarm water, add a few drops of oil and gently wipe your skin, lips or eyelashes several times. By the way: Washable make-up remover pads made from bamboo or organic cotton are reusable and good for the environment.

Mix & Match

Of course, you can mix and match your daily skin care products to suit your own needs. Our argan oil works well with other skin care oils and balms, or to enrich creams and lotions. Just give it a try: Just a few drops in your day cream will give your skin more elasticity, moisture and radiance. Combined with natural foods and ingredients, argan oil also makes it easy to make your own face masks.

Our recipe for a regenerating facial mask

• 2 tsp argan oil
• 1 tsp honey
• ¼ ripe avocado

Mash the avocado with a fork, mix with the remaining ingredients and apply to cleansed face. Leave on for at least 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Face and body scrubs

Scrubs help the skin to regenerate and cleanse the pores. With our argan oil, you can make your own exfoliating scrubs in no time: Simply mix natural ingredients such as sea salt, coconut blossom sugar or almond bran with the oil, smooth over the skin in circular motions, leave on for a few minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. This will gently exfoliate while refreshing and nourishing the skin. Body scrubs are best used in the shower. Tip: A scrub with coffee grounds is particularly revitalising.
