Rosehip skin care oil

The wild rose is also known as the rose hip.

Solling Naturkosmetik's organic wild rose oil is a moisturizing skin care oil for the face and body with a skin-protecting effect. It is absorbed slowly and deeply into the skin and is suitable for the care of very dry skin as well as for use on pigmentation marks and scars. Essential fatty acids support the regenerating effect and promote the skin's ability to retain moisture for a long time and remain elastic. It can be applied to the skin on its own or mixed with creams and lotions. For use as a bath oil, mix with a little cream or milk and stir into warm bath water. Regular use makes the skin smoother, softer and more supple.

Wild rose oil for skin care

The transretinoic acid contained in wild rose oil has a healing effect and promotes the natural regeneration of the skin. The oil also stimulates collagen production, which promotes the ability of the connective tissue to store moisture in the skin.

Wild rose oil in combination with other oils

Wild rose oil is particularly characterized by its ability to develop even more properties in combination with other oils: In combination with gamma-linolenic acid, which is contained in evening primrose oil, for example, it stimulates cell renewal and is particularly suitable as a facial oil for dry, mature and easily inflamed skin. In emulsions with oils containing oleic acid, such as argan oil, it helps the skin to maintain its natural barrier layer and contributes to long-term smoothing. Wild rose oil is also effective in combination with creams and body lotions. Even small amounts promote the regeneration of the skin and lead to greater moisture absorption.

Wild rose oil works at night

Wild rose oil is ideal as night care as it can develop its full effect over a longer period of time. As it evaporates more easily when exposed to sunlight, it is more effective at night as the skin regenerates during the resting phase.

Exfoliation for face and body: with sea salt and oil

Exfoliating scrubs help the skin to regenerate and cleanse the pores. With our wild rose oil, you can make your own facial scrubs quickly and easily: Mix sea salt, coconut blossom sugar, almond bran or coffee grounds, depending on the desired grain size, with the oil, sweep over the skin in circular movements, leave on for a few minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. Then carefully pat the face dry with a soft towel so that the wild rose oil remains on the skin. This gently removes dead cells and revitalizes and nourishes the skin at the same time. The wild rose oil also stimulates skin regeneration.
