Our wok oil is a blend of freshly cold-pressed peanut and coconut oil and frying oil made from high oleic sunflower seeds. The high-heat oil is ideal for frying meat, fish or vegetables and is ideal for "wok cooking".
Our cold-pressed organic peanut oil is an edible oil with a sweet, mild peanut flavor. Peanut oil has a matt yellow color. When frying with peanut oil, the typical smell of roasted peanuts develops. Peanut oil becomes cloudy at temperatures below 10° C and should therefore not be stored in the refrigerator. The peanuts are not roasted before pressing. Virgin organic peanut oil is therefore milder and less intense than roasted peanut oil. Peanut oil is also an oil that can be heated to a high temperature, making it an ideal oil for hot dishes.
Organic coconut oil is ideal for hot temperatures and is particularly heat-stable due to its fatty acid composition. Nowadays, it is hard to imagine cooking without coconut oil, especially in countries where coconuts thrive. The exotic organic coconut oil is a very insensitive oil that is rich in valuable lauric acid. The oil owes its heat resistance primarily to the high proportion of saturated fatty acids, which make it long-lasting and heat-stable and prevent the formation of trans fatty acids when frying, baking and deep-frying.
The frying oil from Ölmühle Solling is made from hulled high oleic sunflower seeds from controlled organic cultivation. The frying oil has a high oleic acid content of around 80 g per 100 g. It is particularly heat-stable and is therefore ideal for steaming, frying, baking and deep-frying. Our frying oil is vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. It should be stored at room temperature and always well sealed. The pouring aid on our bottles facilitates precise dosing.
