This pesto will delight every gourmet. Crisp, fresh walnuts from sustainable, organic plantations and Italian hard cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano) form the basis for this culinary highlight. Our organic walnut pesto with Mediterranean herbs and spices, cane sugar and salt is a delicious blend with our cold-pressed organic walnut oil.
A small amount of our chili seasoning oil gives this pesto a delicious, spicy note. It is not without reason that our walnut pesto is an absolute hit in our range. Heavenly as a sandwich spread or with mozzarella and, of course, with the classic: pasta. Our walnut pesto also enriches salads. Simply mix one or two teaspoons of walnut pesto with walnut oil and a mild vinegar and pour over the salad.
We still do a lot of things by hand, starting with the selection of the raw materials and the gentle and traditional processing. Italian hard cheese of the Parmigiano Reggiano variety with its charismatic aroma forms the basis of our three types of pesto. The large blocks of Parmesan are broken up by hand in our manufactory and carefully chopped. We produce our pestos in small batches. In this way, the taste and high quality are preserved in the best possible way. As a passionate cook, company founder and food technologist Werner Baensch is also the developer of our popular pestos.

Our cashew pumpkin seed pesto and Mediterranean cherry tomato pesto are also real favorites with pasta, sandwiches or in salads.
Our organic cherry tomato pesto impresses with crunchy cashew nuts, Italian spices and our Mediterranean seasoning oil. The spicy, fruity pesto with high-quality, dried cherry tomatoes is perfect on pizza, sandwiches or baguettes. It is also a highlight as an ingredient in salads and with meat and vegetable dishes.
Our organic cashew and pumpkin seed pesto is made from hand-picked cashew and pumpkin seeds, spicy roasted onions and a fruity hint of apple. Roasted pumpkin seed oil adds an extraordinary touch. The pesto is ideal when things need to be done quickly in the kitchen: it scores points with pasta as well as in home-style dishes, for example when refining potato salad.
Please keep refrigerated and ensure that the pesto is always covered with oil. Once opened, store in the fridge at around 7 °C and use the pesto within a week.
