Refreshing cleansing with valuable coconut oil soap
The organic coconut soap mint is a purely vegetable soap made from virgin coconut oil. The soap is cold-stirred using traditional methods. When showering, the soap leaves a cooling and refreshing feeling on the skin. Thanks to the natural essential oils, the coconut soap has an intense peppermint fragrance. The soap is ideal as a kitchen soap.
Mint (Mentha) is a member of the labiate family. It originates from the Mediterranean region and the Near East. Mint has as many species and varieties as it has aromas. These range from mentholated to tart and fruity-fresh. Peppermint, spearmint and nana mint are particularly well-known. The typical, intense smell of mint is due to its high menthol content.
Mint can be used internally and externally. It is used to flavor food, to make teas, for inhalation, for sore muscles, for insect bites and in oral hygiene products. Both fresh and dried parts of the herb are used. The essential oil is considered cooling and invigorating.
We do not use any synthetic fragrances, colorants or preservatives in the production of our soaps. All Solling Naturkosmetik skin oils, balms and soaps bear the internationally recognized NATRUE organic cosmetics seal.
Skin-friendly and moisturizing
Mint coconut soap is well tolerated by the skin and is also ideal as a hand soap thanks to its fresh and intense fragrance. As the soap contains all natural lipids, including the valuable glycerine, it nourishes the skin in addition to mild cleansing. Glycerine regulates the skin's moisture and protects it from drying out.
After production, a skin-friendly surplus of unsaponified coconut oil remains in the soap. This has a pleasant moisturizing effect on the skin with every application. The soft, very smooth and full-bodied lather unfolds its fragrant cleansing power efficiently on the skin.
At 9 to 10, the pH value of the coconut soap is in the alkaline range. Our coconut soap and the cold-pressed coconut oil are said to have a slight antibacterial effect. The coconut oil used for the soap consists of over 60 percent medium-chain fatty acids and contains 50 g lauric acid per 100 g.
Coconut oil - a valuable raw material
We consciously use the valuable oil of the coconut in the production of our soap. The coconut palm offers a diverse resource because almost all parts of the plant can be used. The palm tree is often referred to as the Tree of Life, because in tropical countries it is of enormous economic importance as the most important crop and is also a fundamental source of nutrients. The harvested coconut is classified as a highly nutritious food. It is rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and phenolic compounds. In addition, coconut oil serves as an ideal base for the production of our cold-stirred soaps.
Our coconut soap is not tested on animals and is a purely vegan product. The coconut oil used comes from controlled organic cultivation.
