Coconut soap with a fresh lemon scent

Our organic coconut soap lemon is a vegetable soap made from virgin coconut oil and is cold-stirred using traditional methods. With natural essential oils, it nourishes the skin and gives it a soothing scent of fresh lemon. The bar soap is suitable for showering and hand washing.

The lemon tree (Citrus limon) originally comes from Asia. Depending on the country of origin and growing region, lemons differ, particularly in terms of the thickness of the peel and the juice content. A lemon with thinner skin usually produces more juice. The fruit turns green-yellow as it ripens. The flesh and juice are found inside the lemon, the fragrant lemon oil is in the peel.

Lemons taste sour due to their high citric acid content. They also contain vitamin C, pectin and essential oils. The fruit plays an important role both in the kitchen and in naturopathy. It is also popular in skin care due to its properties. The juice also cares for the hair and is considered a natural bleaching agent.

Natural product without fragrances and colorants

Skin-friendly bar soap

Lemon soap is well tolerated by the skin and is also ideal as a kitchen soap thanks to its fresh citrus scent. As all the natural lipids, including the valuable glycerine, are retained during soap production, the cold-stirred coconut soap has special properties for mild cleansing and gentle skin care. Glycerine regulates the skin's moisture and protects it from drying out.

After production, a natural surplus of unsaponified coconut oil remains in the coconut soap. This has a pleasant moisturizing effect on the skin with every application. The soft, very smooth and full-bodied lather unfolds its cleansing power on the skin. The soap contains no synthetic fragrances, colorants or preservatives. The pH value of the coconut soap is in the alkaline range at 9 to 10. Our coconut soap and the cold-pressed coconut oil are said to have a slight antibacterial effect. The coconut oil used for the soap consists of over 60 percent medium-chain fatty acids and contains 50 g lauric acid per 100 g.

Coconut oil - a valuable raw material

We use valuable coconut oil in the production of our lemon coconut soap for good reason. The coconut palm offers a diverse resource, as almost all parts of the plant can be used. The palm is often referred to as the Tree of Life, as it is the most important crop plant in the tropics and is also a fundamental source of nutrients. The harvested coconut is classified as a highly nutritious functional food. It is rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and phenolic compounds. Coconut oil also serves as an ideal base for the production of our cold-stirred soaps.

Noneof our coconut soaps are tested on animals. The coconut oil used comes from controlled organic cultivation.
