Our Organic Avocado Oil has an intense green colour and is gently extracted from the flesh of fully ripened organic avocados. The ripe flesh is crushed with sterile, cold water and the oil is gently separated in a centrifuge. Temperatures of 40°C are not exceeded during the extraction process. The oil is therefore of raw food quality and the gentle process ensures that the valuable ingredients and typical flavour are retained.

Suitable for fast frying

Because of its fatty acid composition, avocado oil can be heated and used to fry fish, meat and vegetables. Avocado oil is also ideal for skin care as it contains high quality fats and vitamins A, E and D.

Avocado oil is mainly composed of unsaturated fatty acids, including 45 - 62 g per 100 g of oleic acid (18:1), 12 - 13.5 g per 100 g of linoleic acid (18:2) and 0.7 - 3.3 g per 100 g of alpha-linolenic acid. In terms of saturated fatty acids, it contains 16-20 g per 100 g of palmitic acid (16:0) and 5.6-10 g per 100 g of palmitoleic acid (16:1).

The avocado fruit

The avocado is a single-seeded fruit. In addition to the flesh, there is a large seed inside, which makes up about 13-18% of the total fruit. The avocado is 5 to 9 cm wide and between 7 and 20 cm long. The outer skin of the fruit is typically green, but can turn dark green to dark red depending on ripeness and storage. As well as making oil, the flesh of the avocado can be eaten raw.

Schmeckte irgendwie nach einer vergammelten Avocado. Hatte das Öl zum Ausprobieren für die Hautpflege bestellt, mochte aber wegen dem Geruch nicht auf die Haut schmieren. Da das Öl zum hocherhitzen geeignet ist, wollte es dann beim anbraten aufbrauchen. Aber selbst da, fand ich das Öl gar nicht lecker.

Schmeckt zwar nach Avocado, ist aber sehr aufdringlich. Bin Avocado Fan, aber das ist kaum sinnvoll einsetzbar, zumal es sehr soßig und weniger ölig in der Konsistenz ist, verteilt sich schlecht

Ich fand es geschmacklich eher fad und würde es nicht noch mal bestellen. Aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache

Bin vom Produkt sehr enttäuscht, wenn man es hocherhitzt, qualmt es nur. Außerdem hat es einen starken Eigengeruch.

Ich wollte es mal probieren, trifft aber nicht mein Geschmack. Dann doch lieber die ganze Frucht.
